9.00am – 12.00pm: 3hours

12.00 – 12.30 pm: 30 mins

Afternoon Session
12.30 -3.30pm: 3 hours

We are now able to offer an additional early start 8.30 – 9.00 for a few places only (£5.00 a morning), this cannot be part of your funding though, funding starts from 9.00 am.
All children are entitled to the early education grant for 15 hours per week from the term after their 3rdbirthday. Some may be entitled for 30 hours. You can use your early years entitlement as you wish e.g. 2 days finishing at 3pm plus one morning or any 5 sessions.
Children aged 2 years slightly higher charge of £8.30 per hour until term after they are 3 (unless in receipt of 2 year funding)
We take childcare vouchers and are registered for the government tax free child care.

Fees, Funding and Sessions at Little Stars Christian Preschool
January 2026
This information about fees, funding and sessions comes into place on 13th February 2026.
Little Stars is a term time preschool opening for 38 weeks of the year (the same as school), we close for Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays and half terms too.
Opening hours
Monday to Thursday 9.00 – 3.30. Friday 9.00 – 12.00
Sessions
Morning 9.00 – 12.00
Lunch 12.00 – 12.30 (children bring their own packed lunch from home)
Afternoon 12.30 – 3.00 or 12.30 – 3.30
Fees

A minimum of 2 sessions on different days must be attended.
Fees are payable for absences, and are reviewed regularly. Notice of any changes will be given with 4 week’s notice.
Late collection fees
If a parent is late to collect their child the cost is £5.00 for the first half hour or part of a half hour.
Funding
All 3 year old children are eligible for the Government’s Universal Early Education Funding of 15 hours from the term after their 3rd birthday.
Working families may be eligible for the Working Parent Entitlement of 15 hours or 30 hours from the age of 9 months – eligibility criteria applies.
Some families may be eligible for the 2 Help funding of 15 hours if they are in receipt of certain benefits – such as universal credit or income support.
To check if you are eligible for funding please follow the link Help with childcare costs – Warwickshire County Council, if successful you will be given a code, to share with us and we can then process your funding.
Families can use their funded entitlement in a flexible way using whole day sessions ending at 3 pm which includes lunch time. There are no additional charges.
Snack and hygiene donations
We do not currently charge for consumables as we rely on families to donate snack and hygiene item on a regular monthly basis such as snack items and tissues, wipes, cleaning products etc.
Deposit
A deposit of £50 is required when a place is offered – this is reimbursed once the child has started. If families are eligible for 2 help funding, we will not request a deposit.
