All children are entitled to the early education grant for 15 hours per week from the term after their 3rdbirthday. Some may be entitled for 30 hours. You can use your early years entitlement as you wish e.g. 2 days finishing at 3pm plus one morning or any 5 sessions.
Children aged 2 years slightly higher charge of £7.00 per hour until term after they are 3 (unless in receipt of 2 year funding)
We take childcare vouchers and are registered for the government tax free child care.

Fees, Funding and Sessions at Little Stars Christian Preschool
April 2025
This information about fees, funding and sessions comes into place on 28th April 2025.
Little Stars is a term time preschool opening for 38 weeks of the year (the same as school), we close for Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays and half terms too.
Opening hours
Monday to Thursday 9.00 – 3.30. Friday 9.00 – 12.00
Sessions
Morning 9.00 – 12.00
Lunch 12.00 – 12.30 (children bring their own packed lunch from home)
Afternoon 12.30 – 3.00 or 12.30 – 3.30
Fees

A minimum of 2 sessions on different days must be attended.
Fees are payable for absences, and are reviewed annually. Notice of any changes will be given with 4 week’s notice.
Funding
All 3 year old children are eligible for the Government’s Universal Early Education Funding of 15 hours from the term after their 3rd birthday.
Working families may be eligible for the Working Parent Entitlement of 15 hours or 30 hours from the age of 9 months – eligibility criteria applies.
Some families may be eligible for the 2 Help funding of 15 hours if they are in receipt of certain benefits – such as universal credit or income support.
To check if you are eligible for funding please follow the link Help with childcare costs – Warwickshire County Council, if successful you will be issued with a code that you need to share with us, then we can process your funding.
Families can use their funded entitlement in a flexible way using whole day sessions ending at 3 pm which includes lunch time. There are no additional charges.
Snack donations
We provide snack for the children, but every month or so ask for voluntary donations of snack items or hygiene items such as tissues, wipes etc.
Deposit
A deposit of £50 is required when a place is offered – this is reimbursed once the child has started. If families are eligible for 2 help funding, we will not request a deposit.
